Here you will find information about the mailing lists that are managed on behalf of the SECOG membership. You are encouraged to make use of them in order to better communicate with your fellow Coggers and the officers that help keep things running. Within reasonable limitations, the webmaster will be happy to set up other local mailing lists for members as long as the use of the list is for COG purposes. Please contact the webmaster if you would like to discuss setting up a local list for your area.
National COG Mailing List
This is the standard COG mailing list that is available for all members. You can find out more information at the COG ListProc FAQ Page.
SECOG Officers Mailing List
This is a private list maintained for the use of SECOG officers for event planning purposes. If you are a SECOG officer, you will be automatically added to this list by the webmaster.
SECOG Mailing List
The SECOG mailing list is a distribution-only list. If you are a COG member in the Southeast region and you have provided your email address to national headquarters in your membership form, then you will automatically be added to this list. The SECOG officers use this list to communicate with the regional membership via email - saving us a little money on postage that we can put toward other events. If you haven't already provided your email address to national, please do so and help us out a little bit.
North Georgia COG Mailing List
The North Georgia COG Mailing List is maintained for primary use by members in the Atlanta Metro area, but there is no restriction on who may or may not subscribe to the list. This is a standard mailing list that behaves very much the same as the national COG mailing list. The intent of the list is to allow members in the north Georgia area to maintain better communication for rides, local event planning, and technical questions.
