Along California 36, near Platina, summer 1996. The roads in this area are so twisty, half the time you're following your own tail light Sam Ellington This was the Trinity Alps ride, and two riders showed up. Over 800 miles this weekend, and at most, 100 miles was straight road. 
Side hack Mike Stephenson is one of the few Connie owners that has adapted a sidehack to his Concours. This one is designed by Motorvation. Mike says "It's great for taking the kids along. Ever seen 3 passengers on a motorcycle?"  
Sam Ellington, the SW director for COG, dragged his centerstand enough times he cut the end off and replaced it with a plastic crutch tip. Now he 'smokes' crutch tips.
