Donuts and morning coffee courtesy of Bianco Kawasaki. Weather to make you smile, blues skies, no rain, light breeze, and temps in the 80's were forecast. Nine bikes on the road to meet five more in Rockaway Beach. Kris, Wichita, KS. JoAnn and Donald, Wichita, KS. Mike and Mary, Little Rock, AR. Mike, St. Louis, MO. Ron, Florossant, MO.
The roads down and back were a mix of scenic opportunity and some of the best roads in the mid west to enjoy the sport side of the Concours personality. The fall colors were one week from peak and brilliant. Doug Freeman reminded us that the Concours is an inspiring machine and Doug Stoutenborough showed us another side to the personality of the Gold Wing.

The campground fell short of expectations, the sun never sets on Main Street. Next year we will do better. Consider this weekend booked for next year, planning is under way, the year of the Spider is to come. My personal thanks to all that showed up and a special thanks to my wife Brenda for her understanding that a man has to ride, she spent the night in the Salem Motel with a serious mystery illness. We picked her up on the way back and jetted her to The Hill.
Missouri has a lot to offer! Let's see a little more next Autumn!!
