| Directions to Walker Valley: I-5 exit College Way (538) in Mount Vernon, go East. A few miles out of town, you will come to a "Y" in the road (Big Rock Grocery), head south on Highway 9 towards "Big Lake". Continue until you see "Walker Valley Rd", and a small sign for Walker Valley ORV on your left about mid point on Big Lake (mile post 46?), there's a sign for Walker Valley on the right. Follow this gravel road to trail head. Get a good map here; Department of Natural Resources |
