Ride The Rockies

National Rally and Celebration of the Tenth Anniversary of the Concours

August 5th through the 9th are the dates for this years Concours Owners Group national rally, to be held in Avon Colorado, right smack dab in the middle of some of the most spectacular scenery on this planet. We got long rides planned, we got day rides planned, we got a kick butt banquet planned, we even got reps. from Big K and Sport Rider scheduled. Did I mention the roads? Rumor has it that the representitive from Kawasaki will be arriving on the 1997 model Concours.

A block of one bedroom, four person condo's, with fireplaces, kitchenettes, and underground parking have been set aside at the Christie Lodge, for those who wish to make Avon their base camp. Reduced rates are available for COG members.

All of the 'day' rides have been planned by the same person who brought you the Ride the Divide of the last three years,details here. The banquet, guest speakers, and most workshops are scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, to accomodate those who have more than a 'few' miles to travel to get here.
