Rick's OtP Adventure

June 21, 2004 to July 11, 2004.

Twenty one days, two continents, seven countries, ten states, 10,027 miles. Woof!

Colorado to New Jersey. Hop a plane for Frankfurt, Germany. Then it's tour Germany, France, Luxembourg , Belgium, The Netherlands (and Holland), and Austria.

Attend the COG National rally in Johnstown, PA before returning to Colorado via the Northern Exposure tour from Prince George, BC to Hyder Alaska, which may be covered in another story.

Special thanks to the online COG community that financed a good portion of this, as well as for casting votes in my favor. Extra special thanks to the following people for their very active roll in making it all happen.

The International Cast:
Hans-Ove Gortz, Ted Adcock, and Spencer Farrow; the OtP 'staff'.

The USA Cast:
Murph, Topster and Kat, Jim Hammond. And a very special thanks to Mark Finley.

The EU Cast:
Patrick de Maqueville, who I am eternally indebted to. Jorn Bose, for my 'loaner' GTR. Stephan Schleich his family and friends, for lodging, food, and high speed internet :-). Mark Cipriano for tech services, shuttle, translations, road sign tips. Hans Dressler, Dr. Walter Kirchweger, Werner and Gertraund Klausner; well, Austria is definitely for bikers :) Bernd and Aneth Neumann for lodging, food, most excellent libations, and Kirchen. Marc Kleefstra for his most excellent English, the towel, and his DSL. Sean O'Donovan, Anja, and the Gasthof Zum Engel for my last night in nirvana. And there's a ton more.

It doesn't seem like much, but I had never met 80% of the people above prior to June. It was all email related, it was all about our passion for the GTR/ZG and it's followers.

So let's see the pix Rick! Ok, her ya go.
