February 12, 2005
The Chicken-Corn Soup was once again hosted by John & Missy Lippy. A record number twenty-seven hungry soup eaters were in attendance this beautiful day. Pat didn't get stuck in the driveway this year. Nathan brought along his daughter who was the highlight of the day. Jim Doyle came over from Delaware for his first COG event and he thought it was great to meet people with so much enthusiasm that they get together to have fun. Wayne Tenney another first time Cogger is looking forward to more COG events. Great food, great company and a big THANK YOU to John, Missy, and the kids with a real treat of a soup and pretzel recipe to those who wanted them.
On Sunday there were 6 Coggers from the corn soup gig that went to Pat's back road and dirt road ride at Fulkner and Culpepper Counties.
