Colorado FreeWheelers 1000-in-24, August 16-17, 2008, Greenwood
Village, CO. If you think you would like to see a lot of Colorado (and possibly some neighboring states) in a short period
of time, or maybe you're just curious about being able to ride a 1,000 miles in a 24 hour period, or you would like to earn
an Iron Butt Association SaddleSore 1000 award, join the FreeWheelers for their 23rd anniversary of this fun event.
Utah 1088, Salt Lake City, Utah, June 27-29, 2008, with a pre-rally
Bar B Q being held on June 26, 2008. A classic.
Land of Enchantment 1000, October (first weekend), 2008, Albuquerque, NM.
A motorcycle rally requiring entrants to ride about 1000 miles of the Enchanting state in 24 hours in a sort of scavenger
hunt, visiting various sites and collecting tidbits of information. Most entrants qualify for the Iron Butt Association
SaddleSore 1000 award.
Western States Bonanza - 48-hour endurance rally starting and ending
in Grand Junction, Colorado.
Nevada 1099 - 25-hour endurance rally starting and ending
in Sparks, Nevada.
Cal 24 - 24-hour endurance rally starting and ending
in Dunnigan, California.
Spank Rally - 7-day endurance rally starting in Omaha, NE,
and ending in Tulsa, OK. Or, 5-day rally starting at your home and ending in Tulsa.

Attend other rallies. Some like the Mason Dixon 20-20 Rally and the Minuteman
1000 have a routing and strategies workshop or seminar before the rally.
Attend the IBA National Meet and attend the seminars about riding rallies.

Join the Long Distance (LD) Riders list.
Take all of the above with a grain of salt, remembering that the way you ride and plan rides will
likely differ in some ways from others.
