Explore the mining areas around Central City, Nevadaville, and Idaho Springs.

Directions

• East on I-70 to left exit to US-6.
• North on US-6 to CO-119.
• North on CO-119 to Black Hawk.
• West (left) on Gregory St to Central City
• West on Nevada Street, then follow detailed directions in "Colorado Trails, North-Central Region", page 97.
• Visit the remains of the old mining town of Nevadaville.
• Take side trips to explore more of the mining district.
• After returning to Central City, ride or walk around to see the history and new casinos.
• Return to Frisco using the same roads, or..
• South on Roworth St.
• Jog left to Spring St which turns into Virginia Canyon Road (Oh My God Road).
• Follow Virginia Canyon Road to Idaho Springs and I-70.
• West on I-70 to Frisco.
