Ok folks I’m gonna
let the cat out of the bag… some lucky soul is going to get
a complete carb clean and build from yours truly, as a winner of
the raffle I am planning. Now to be fair, I am going to limit this
to some of the older bikes in the group, by rights, it should be
a bike never before probed internally…(ouch) So during the
signup, there will be a sheet and info on how to enter this great
tech session, and come out riding home in a new and happy way…
Along with this session,
I will attempt to proctor a few other sessions on Wednesday as I
will have a rolling “SkUnKwErKz” tool box and supplies.
Thursday brings on other adventures in maintenance with multiple
steering head bearing adjustments, wheel bearing tweeks, and assorted
other things, and non the least, the infamous Man of Blues 25 point
inspection technique for happy motorcycles - We’ll cover it
all, and hopefully I will get some riding in also.
Oh, just to set this
off on the right foot, I highly suggest you arrive in WV with some
semblance of an operating bike, because it is a very unforgiving
area with respect to quantity of service shops. In other words,
I ain’t fixin’ everyone’s bike. I have a job,
and I need some fun time, that week is my fun time. So ride safe,
get a tune up in July, and I’ll see y’all at the rally.
