The ERCs will
be offered in conjunction with the WVDOT
Motorcycle Safety Program. The ERC is a one-day course for riders
who already own and ride motorcycles. This course is tailor-made
for riders interested in refining their motorcycle handling techniques
or just brushing up on their street skills. The course consists
of 6 hours of riding activities on your street legal motorcycle
and several breakout discussions. Training will be conducted at
the Nature Center parking lot about 1.5 miles from the Lodge within
Canaan Valley State Park.
Depending
on sign-ups, there may be more than one ERC conducted during the
rally. The ERC sessions are being offered daily Tuesday, August
7 through Friday, August 11, beginning promptly at 8:00 am.. Each
class must meet a minimum number of students to be able to run and
the coordinator may need to assign riders to certain days to fill
classes. Classes will be filled by prepaid advance registration
on a first-come, first-served basis. Get your registration form
in early. For more info, contact the COG ERC coordinator: Tim McEldowney
