Kawasaki will
have a few Concours 14 available for members to demo on Wednesday,
August 8 and Thursday, August 9 from approximately 9:00am - 4:00pm.
Unfortunately, the bulk of demo bikes and will most likely be at
Sturgis. In addition to the demo bikes, Kawasaki may have a few
other bikes on display ..
Requirement
for Demo Rides at Concours Owners Group Rally
- Riders must
have a valid motorcycle license and proper riding gear.
- Helmet, eye
protection, closed toe shoes and long pants are required and are
not provided..
- Jacket or
long sleeve shirt and over the ankle boots are recommended.
- Rider and
passenger (if applicable) must sign waiver form.
- Passenger
must be at least 16 years of age.
- Riders
must be a registered attendee of the COG 2007 National Rally,
and current COG members will have priority over non-COG members.
Update
07/16/07 - Good news, we were just informed by Kawasaki that they
will bring six Concours 14's to Canaan and extend demo rides by
one day in order to try and accommodate as many riders as possible.
Demo rides on the Concours 14's will be available on Wed, Thur,
& Friday (Aug 8, 9,& 10th). These will be escorted rides.
Details for sign-up will be posted at the rally. I am quite sure
it will be handled very similar to Kawasaki's standard way of handling
demo rides.
