Tires at Floodcity
(3/17/04) Anyone that is coming to the National and thinks they are going to need Tires while at the rally please PAY ATTENTION! Unlike last years really in Asheville where there was a dealer with somthing like 20,000 motorcycle tires in stock our local dealers just don't carry that kind of inventory! If you are going to need tires while in Johnstown, please take a minute and contact either of the two dealers that are supporting our event and
pre-order tires!
Be sure to mention the Floodcity Rally and thank them for their support.

Biker Bingo
(3/17/04) New this year at the Dam Breaker Opening Reception... A great way to meet new people and win super prizes. Everyone attending the reception gets a special COG "bingo card". Instead of letters and numbers the squares have states and provinces. Move around the reception and say hello to others. Record their COG numbers in the boxes and complete lines, diagonals, blackout the card, etc, to win prizes. Full details will be on the cards.

Photo Takers Needed
(3/15/04) Are you bringing your digital camera to the national? Does your camera use removable digital film media (i.e. compact flash, smart media, memory stick)? We would like collect your digital pictures to use during the slide show. Please ask about this when you check-in to find out what the procedure will be for photo collection.

Group Photo
(2/24/04) We have contracted with Cover Studios to take an official “Flood City National” commemorative group photo Thursday evening before the banquet. Those interested in purchasing a copy will be able to have one mailed right to their door. No need to pack it home - let the USPS get it there for you safely. The price will be $15 for an 11" x 7" or 10" x 8" color print. (depending on the proportion of the group) This includes tax, postage & handling. The studio tells me that they will be able to incorporate our logo right into the print. Pretty neat stuff! We’re scouting the area as we speak looking for a unique venue to take the picture. We’ll have the location posted at the rally so everyone can be in on the fun!

Rally Update
(2/14/04) This cannot be said enough - Book your room early. Although we believe enough room space is secured, unreserved rooms in our blocks will be released to the general public after the reservation deadline of 5/28/2004. Remember that you can always cancel your reservation or reassign it to another member if you decide not to attend.

Two more wonderful people have stepped up to fill the last remaining committee chair positions. Vic Salisbury is now the Door Prize Coordinator and Mike Schmidt is the On-Site COG Merchandise Sales Coordinator. If you would like to help out on either of these committees or any of the others, just contact the appropriate chairperson or Jason Kaplitz, Rallymaster.

Just in case anyone has some spare parts or a few of those little do-dads lying around they would like to get rid of, we've added a swap meet to the seemingly endless list of things to do at the Flood City National. There will not be any fees for this event. Please bring only Concours related items (or at least sport-touring), and have a price in mind so your items can be tagged accordingly. The on-site merchandise coordinator has agreed to tend to your things while you are out riding! He will display and sell the items while the official COG merchandise table is open. These hours, by the way, will roughly coincide with the registration hours. In the event that interest in this is HUGE we will provide a place and time for you to tend to your own things, probably along with the bike show. To express interest in participation, or to ask questions, contact the on-site merchandise coordinator, Mike Schmidt.
