"I just spent
a week in the Johnstown/Altoona, PA area, and can testify that there are
some great roads up there! I was working the International Tour de 'Toona
bicycle race, and ended up doing Press/VIP all week (instead of officiating),
so I got to see a lot more of the area than most, at generally higher
speeds!" Kevin Long

"I find it amazing
that the participants in the Johnstown Scouting Party seem to be surprised
that Jason had everything organized so well. Any veteran NE COGger could
have told you that a well organized event with great rides is a given
when Jason is the host. Jason is one of the great COG rally masters. See
you all in Flood City." Mike - COG#528

Let's
hear it for table 18, 10 and Lisa. The roads sucked, it was horrid and
I hate PA. Wait, wrong notes. I mentioned to Jay that I think this route
should be run clockwise - gets to Kissels about 30 minutes earlier. Fuel
is plentiful; the longest stretch was from Cassville to 26 by the lake
- Roughly 20 miles. About the route, what can I say, the world's best
ice cream, a collection of great cycling roads, and a willing dealer.
